you at the destination with your bike safe and sound.
Once you have drained your gas and emptied your saddlebags,
you are ready to turn your bike over to us. From here
there are several steps that we go through in the preparation
of your bike transport. We have built trust in the industry
by consistently sticking to what works best for us.
Before turning your bike over to us, we ask that you
drain the gas from the tank and get the level as low as
possible. This can be done easily with any type of siphoning
device and helps make the bike lighter for shipping.
We
also ask that you remove any of your belongings from the saddlebags
prior to shipping.
Loading
ramps can prove to be a risky way to load a bike that weighs
hundreds of pounds. That's why Federal only uses lift gates
allowing your bike to stay completely still when moving from
the ground to the truck and vice versa.
Thorough inventory forms are drawn up upon
shipping requests.
Customers always receive complete inventory documentation
prior to shipping.
Once your bike is in the truck, it is carefully
loaded onto a specially designed pallet and strapped down
solid. If that isn't enough, we ship the bikes in air
ride trailers that absorb road vibration.
Every bike is double and sometimes triple
checked before any vehicle movement begins.
The
final checks reveal a bike that is ready to meet you in the
new destination safe and sound
