Each year, there are several motorcycle rallies in Michigan plus major motorcycle swap meets and charity rides that that draw riders throughout the region. From scenic charity rides through the lush countryside to high-octane motorcycle rallies packed with activities, Michigan has something for every motorcycle lover.

Here are some of the largest and best Michigan motorcycle events, showcasing the vibrant community and the plethora of activities that make each event unique. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or new to the motorcycle scene, these events promise adventure, camaraderie, and the pure joy of riding.

Annual D-Frost Run & Party Benefiting Penrickton Center for Blind Children

  • Where: Flat Rock, MI
  • When: April 20, 2024

The 16th Annual D-Frost Run & Party Benefiting Penrickton Center for Blind Children kicks off in April at Motown Harley-Davidson in Taylor with an after party at UAW Local 387. This annual event for a good cause began in 2008 with a group of friends and 78 riders.

$20 registration for the D-Frost Run includes the ride, patch, after party, dinner, and prizes. $10 registration is dinner and after party only and $5 includes only the after party. The after party will have a cash bar.

Baldwin Blessing of the Bikes Festival

  • Where: Baldwin, MI
  • When: May 17-May 19, 2024

Blessing of the Bikes in Baldwin MI celebrates its 52nd year in 2024. Organized by the Lake County Chamber of Commerce, it’s now one of the largest motorcycle events in Michigan. About 20,000 riders and non-riders attend the event every year, including 5,000 to 10,000 bikes.

The Baldwin Blessing of the Bikes is a family-friendly event in downtown Baldwin with food, vendors selling leather goods and other items, and tattoo artists. The vendor marketplace is on M-37 with ample parking.

The actual bike blessing ceremony takes place at 1 pm on Sunday at Baldwin Airport. A $5 donation per bike is requested.

Camping space is very limited and allowed only on Maple Street between the Rails for Trails and 9th Street.

Mackinaw City Motorcycle Rally

  • Where: Mackinaw City, MI
  • When: June 6 – June 9, 2024

2024 marks the 4th annual Mackinaw City Motorcycle Rally where the Lower and Upper Peninsula meet. The Mackinaw City Motorcycle Rally is one of the newest and most exciting Michigan motorcycle events, which kicks off on Friday with a poker run and fireworks over the picturesque Lake Huron. The poker run has a $1,500 first-place prize.

Other planned rally activities and events include:

Gilmore Car Museum Vintage Motorcycle Weekend

  • Where: Hickory Corners, MI
  • When: June 8 – June 9, 2024

The Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners features more than 400 collectors and vintage motorcycles and automobiles on a historic 90-acre campus. It bills itself as North America’s largest automobile museum. Throughout the year, the Gilmore Car Museum hosts many special events, car shows, and weekend events like Vintage Motorcycle Weekend.

One of the most anticipated upcoming motorcycle events in Michigan, the two-day event will feature thousands of rare and iconic rides plus:

Vintage Bike Show with custom, vintage, and antique bikes, all 25+ years old

Want to participate? Register your bike online. Registration includes admission for two people and two bikes including museum admission. Visitors can buy tickets to Vintage Motorcycle Weekend for $20 for adults, $12 for kids 11 to 17. Two-day passes are $36 for adults and $20 for kids. Children 10 and under and active military members enjoy free admission.

Bike Bash at the Ogemaw County Fairgrounds

  • Where: West Branch, MI
  • When: June 21 – June 23, 2024

Bike Bash in West Branch is one of the longest-running motorcycle rallies in Michigan. The event is presented by the Ogemaw County Agricultural Society and the Ogemaw County Fairgrounds. It’s a much-anticipated event for riders in Northern Michigan that’s gone by many names since 2005: Ogemaw Hills Bike Week and, in 2023, Booze, Bikes and Bands (B3).

The event will feature:

Michihistrigan Rendezvous – U.P. Motorcycle Rally

  • Where: Gould City, MI
  • When: June 13 – June 16, 2024

The 6th annual Michihistrigan Rendezvous, also known as the U.P. Motorcycle Rally, is one of the top Michigan motorcycle events supporting veterans and the only rally in the Upper Peninsula. Held over Father’s Day weekend, the event features a flag raising ceremony by the American Legion Riders and Patriot Guard Riders and raises money for Mission Six Service Dogs.

The U.P Motorcycle Rally will feature:

Muskegon Rebel Road & Muskegon Bike Time Motorcycle Rallies

  • Where: Muskegon, MI
  • When: July 17-21, 2024

Muskegon Bike Time and Rebel Road are two motorcycle rallies in Michigan held together in downtown Muskegon. The city is known for its motorcycle history as the home of the Muskegon Motorcycle Club (MMC). The 124-year-old MC is older than even the American Motorcycle Association (AMA)! It also established America’s first professional hill climb.

Muskegon Rebel Road: A 5-day rally to benefit the Child Abuse Council of Muskegon County. It was organized to support Downtown Muskegon. The rally is held along Western Avenue. It’s now in its 9th year.

Muskegon Bike Time: A 4-day rally centered around Hot Rod Harley-Davidson. Muskegon Bike Time celebrates its 18th year in 2024.

One of the largest and best Michigan motorcycle events, thousands of motorcycles line Western Avenue every year in July for the two complementary events. The major West Michigan motorcycle event draws in 75,000 motorcycles and 100,000 attendees from across the country!

Niles Burn Run

  • Where: Niles, MI
  • When: July 27 – July 28, 2024

The Niles Burn Run is a family-friendly Michigan motorcycle event with vendors, food, live music, and hundreds of motorcyclists raising money to support children affected by fire.

The Friday Night Kickoff Concert starts the event with music provided by Niles Music & More. The Happy Campers will provide live music from 7 to 9 pm.

On Saturday, the Niles Burn Run Car Show runs from 9 am to 1 pm with awards at 12:30 pm. Live music by The Warrior Kings starts at 2 pm.

The Niles Burn Run Motorcycle Ride takes place on Sunday, July 28 at 12 pm. Registration is from 8 to 11 am. The 50-mile ride covers Cass and Berrien counties escorted by local law enforcement motorcade officers, fire, and EMTs.

The annual event raises money to benefit the Great Lakes Burn Camp for Kids. In 2023, they raised $38,000 for the camp!

CMA State Rally – Michigan | Great Lakes Affect Rally

  • Where: Sebewaing, MI
  • When: August 30 – September 2, 2024

The Michigan State CMA Rally brings Christian Motorcyclists Association members throughout the state together at Bayshore Campground for a bike blessing, parade, bike show, family-friendly games, live music, vendors, great food, and campfires. This will be the fourth year the CMA has held its Michigan rally at Bayshore.

Bikes on the Bricks

  • Where: Flint, MI
  • When: September 6 – September 8, 2024

Bikes on the Bricks began as a motorcycle show in Michigan to complement the annual Back to the Bricks auto show held in downtown Flint since 2004. The first Bikes on the Bricks event was held in October 2007 with 100 riders showing up on the chilly, rainy day. Today, it’s a premier 3-day event with bike shows, food and merch vendors, a police skills competition, and a police-escorted motorcycle ride.

The proceeds from the escorted ride are donated to local Genesee County charities such as Hurley Medical Center and Young Marines.

Kalamazoo Motorcycle Swap Meet

  • Where: Kalamazoo, MI
  • When: March

The annual Kalamazoo Motorcycle Swap Meet will be in its 51st year in 2025! Presented by Paragon Leather USA and held in March, the massive event draws in vendors from as far away as Connecticut. The swap meet features everything from motorcycle parts and leather apparel to helmets and an on-site sewing service for patches, plus full concessions with beer on tap. Admission is $10 and free for children 12 and under.

Grand Rapids Motorcycle Swap Meet

  • Where: Grand Rapids, MI
  • When: April
